There are several other popular Iowa casinos, including Harrah’s Council Bluffs, with 28,250 square feet, 1,212 slot machines, and 39 table games.
A tinier Iowa gambling hall is the Diamond Jo, a water based gambling den in Dubuque, with 17,813 square feet, 776 one armed bandits, and 19 table games. The Catfish Bend river boat, in Fort Madison, with 13,000 square feet, 535 slot machines, and 14 table games. Another Iowa river based casino, The Isle of Capri, is open never closes, with 24,939 square feet, 1,100 slots, and 24 table games. The Mississippi Belle II, a 10,577 square foot water based gambling den in Clinton, has 506 one armed bandits, 14 table games, live productions, and Thursday blackjack events.
Iowa casinos provide a great deal of tax revenue to the state government of Iowa, which has permitted the funding of a good many state wide projects. Tourism has gotten bigger at a rapid percentage along with the request for services and an increase in jobs.
