Being Taught From My Betting Failures

First to clarify why I write this article. I have been gambling on the web or at land based casinos for a great many years. I have learned, the addiction can take a hold of you and you won’t even realize it until you are beaten. Particularly if you are on a winning run. I’ve gone through many thousands of dollars in a very tiny period of time and still on occasion, I will go a bit too far. It appears you are just having fun until you decide to be aware of your loss and the anguish settles in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can earn it back" repeatedly. It doesn’t works. Then you feel queasy in your gut and the more you try the quicker you are deprived.

When you see that you’re up, STAY on the UP! When you begin to be beaten, don’t tell yourself, "well just maybe one more" and over and over again, believe me, this plan almost never ever works. Say you are playing on slots, have an amount set to the side before beginning your play. DO NOT exceed that limit, no matter how captivating. If you actually succeed, put that in a separate pot. Do not risk your successes no matter what. As soon as you have played through your primary set limit, call it a day. Leave, regardless if it’s on the internet or at a physical casino, don’t stay around. Always remember, there will be a different day, a different time.

Keep in mind, wagering is supposed to be FUN not exhausting, nauseating work! If you are not enjoying yourself, you do not belong there. If youcannot afford the cost, do not even begin.
