Don’t Drink … Play!

August 4th, 2025 at 17:25

If you like to have a cocktail every so often, leave your cash at home if you set out to do your consuming in a casino. I am serious. Leave your pocketbook, your billfold, and keep all cash, plastic credit and chequebooks out of the casino. Only take whatever cash you intend to spend on drinks, tipping and few dollars you intend to lose and leave the rest behind.

Cynical? Not really. Realistic more like. You might have a profit after a boozy evening out with your buddies and be blessed sufficiently to catch a long roll at a hot craps game. Keep that story seeing that it is as short-lived as it gets if you regularly drink alcohol and bet. The two just do not mix.

Leaving your money at home is a little bit dramatic, but preventative measures for drastic actions is required. If you play to profit, then do not drink and bet. If you like to burn your assets without a worry, then drink all the no charge booze you can handle, but do not pack charge cards and cheques to throw into the mix of chasing losses after your inebriated brain throws away all the cash!

Permit me to take this one step further. Don’t drink alcohol and then go on the net to bet in your preferred internet casino either. I love to beer from the coziness of my domicile, but seeing that I am linked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep charge cards in close proximity, I can not drink alcohol and gamble.

Why? Despite the fact that I do not drink a lot, once I consume alcohol, it’s certainly sufficient to blur my judgment. I gamble, so I do not consume alcohol when wagering. If you are a drinker, don’t bet when you do. The two mix up for a dangerous, and crazy, drink.
